Welcome to the website for Ruskin Park House
View of RPH: Block B
Ruskin Park House is a privately-run residential estate whose management is handled by an enthusiastic residents’ management committee.
Ruskin Park House was built in the late 1940s/1950s and is located in Camberwell, south London. It is situated on rising ground above the Thames flood plain, three miles south of St Paul's Cathedral.
The estate comprises three separate blocks of flats set in well-cared for parkland-style gardens. The two larger blocks, although built after the war, are of a typical 1930s appearance, with echoes of Modernism in their sweeping bay windows. The practical simplicity of the smaller third block is an example of good post-war architectural design.
In total the three blocks house 241 flats, ranging from studios to large three-bedroom family homes. Virtually all are owner-occupied.
This web site has been created to improve communications between those responsible for running the estate and the estate's residents and to provide a forum for estate information. It is hoped progressively to make use of information technology to reduce estate running costs and to provide an opportunity for external sponsorship and advertising.
